Forcefield was founded in 2003 with the mission of making sports as safe as possible for all participants. Our founders leveraged more than three decades of knowledge and research into creating a product that addresses the risks recreational and professional athletes face during competition and practice. In fact, they devoted five years of research and development before the first Forcefield product was even marketed! Forcefield Headbands caught on instantly! Initially designed to protect soccer players against head injuries, the benefits apply to many different sports and activities. Parents and coaches quickly purchased them for baseball, softball, field hockey, cheerleading and lacrosse, as well as hockey, basketball, figure skating and gymnastics. Beyond the patented protective headband, Forcefield is also developing complementary products to make sports even safer.
